  • Food vendors will be present and participants may purchase food from these vendors

    Participants will be allowed to bring their own food into the event

    Hydration points will be available for participants as well

  • Yes, participants will be required to change into the Surf n Sweat event singlet that will be given on the day itself. However, undershirts can be worn if preferred.

  • Wet weather plans will be in place depending on the severity

    If it is raining too heavily for the event to continue, the event will be suspended and no refunds will be given

  • There will be professional medical personnel on standby in the case of injuries and an ambulance in case of serious injuries requiring more medical attention

Event Details

  • Visit our ticketing page to fill out the registration form!

    Each team will only need to complete 1 registration form. Full payment for the entire team will only need to be done so by 1 person

  • Please scan the PAYNOW QR code provided in the form and ensure that the payment amount tallies with the participant categories provided in the table

    Under Remarks, input your team name-sport you signed up for (e.g. combatwombats-volleyball or if there is insufficient space first 3 letters of the sport e.g. combatwombats-tou)

  • After participants submit the registration form, an e-receipt will be sent to the email provided in the form within 3 working days.

    To ensure that your registration is processed smoothly, please follow the pricing indicated. Kindly input the correct amount, as any discrepancies may result in delays in verification and processing.

  • Participants are to present the confirmation email and the e-receipt at the registration booth to our registration officers

  • Yes, we will be verifying each participant’s NTU affiliation. Here are alternative methods of proof:

    1. NTU matriculation card

    2. NTU/NIE email address

    3. Degree audit

    Failure to provide proof of NTU/NIE affiliation would result in a $5 increment in ticket price to ensure fairness to all participants

  • Participants are to report at least 30 minutes prior to the starting time of their first beach game fixture

    *it will be deemed a no show if participants fail to show up within 5 minutes of their scheduled fixture and will result in a walkover

    Participants are encouraged to arrive early to register and may spend their time at the many carnival game booths created

  • You will be required to sign up for both sports and make payment separately for both.

    On the day of the event itself, you will only need to register at the registration booth once to obtain your tyvek tags pertaining to the two sports you have signed up for.

  • Our list of sports that you can sign up for are:

    1. Volleyball

    2. Touch Rugby

    3. Ultimate Frisbee

    4. Tchoukball

    5. Dodgeball

    6. Captain’s Ball

    7. Handball

  • Grab your friends and form groups according to the following requirements according to your chosen sport:

    1. Volleyball - 6 (includes 2 reserves, min. 1 female player on the court)

    2. Touch Rugby - 5 (includes 2 reserves, min. 1 female player on the court)

    3. Ultimate Frisbee - 7 (includes 2 reserves, min. 2 female players on the court)

    4. Tchoukball - 7 (includes 2 reserves, min. 2 female players on the court)

    5. Dodgeball - 8 (includes 2 reserves, min. 2 female players on the court)

    6. Captain’s Ball - 7 (includes 2 reserves, min. 2 female players on the court)

    7. Handball - 6 (includes 2 reserves, min. 1 female players on the court)

    A team does not have to be fully comprising of NTU affiliates as well and can be a mixture, however do take note of the pricing difference

  • It will be round-robin style to ensure equal playing opportunities for all, before progressing into knockout rounds, semis and finals!

  • Participants are restricted to registering for up to 2 sports for Beach Games. As the sports will be playing matches concurrently, playing in multiple sports increases the likelihood and occurrences of fixtures clashing. Surf N Sweat will not entertain any request for rescheduling fixtures.

    Participants interested in playing 2 different sports are to register and make payment for the sports separately.

  • No! It will be an open competition, all are welcome to sign up regardless of skill level or age!

  • Yes, Surf N Sweat 2024 is open to those aged 14 and above!

    Participants under the age of 14 will be ejected with no refunds

  • Equipment for the games is provided, however, participants can choose to bring along their own balls/discs and are solely responsible for their own equipment

    Surf N Sweat 2024 will not be liable for any damages or losses to personal belongings

  • No, only participants who have signed up to compete in the beach games will be admitted into the event ground. No outside spectators will be granted entry.

  • Yes! Prizes and event medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams from each sport!

    Lucky draws will also happen during the event, ensuring all participants a chance to walk home with a prize!

  • The goodie bag consists of a Surf N Sweat 2024 event singlet and many other sponsored items such as energy drinks and snacks

  • Yes, participants can collect the goodie bag on behalf of a teammate
